In addition, it is the fourth largest glacier in all of Patagonia, covering an ice area of 820 km²[]and a length of 45 km, It begins at Lautaro Volcano and ends at Lake O’Higgins. It is 45 km long and 3.5 km wide, with walls rising over 80 meters above the lake’s surface.
